Victory for Pasco County's Historic Oak Tree #7

🌳 TREE SAVED!

🎉 VICTORY UPDATE - June 21, 2025

The City will revoke the permit for now AND THE TREE WILL NOT BE CUT DOWN! Thank you for all the support. We will now seek an ISA Certified Arborist who will be qualified to make the health and future decisions of Old #7. Sadly there was no attempt to preserve this historic tree but now there will be. Thank you for your support. We have a lot of work ahead.

The Issue That Started It All:

UPDATE: I was just told the reason for removing this tree is that there are reserved parking spots under this tree and those folks don't want to park under the tree.

"Move your spot, park like the rest of us, first come first served. Don't destroy an Iconic tree just because it inconveniences you."

Earlier this week I saw a post they were removing this beautiful Oak Tree. Why in the world would they do this? It's a landmark.
